What does OEM and NOS stand for?
OEM stands for “Original Equipment Manufacturer”, which refers to companies that produce parts directly for automakers. OEM parts are known for their reliability and precise adherence to original specifications. NOS, or “New Old Stock”, describes parts manufactured sometime in the past that have never been sold or used. Due to prolonged storage, some NOS products may exhibit minor imperfections such as discoloration or light rust.
